About the event
Maisha Howze's launch of her second book, Hidden Gems: Black Women in the Workplace, examines the ongoing issue of Black women are physically present in our workplace but not valued enough to be seen or heard. Often times Black womens voices, contributions, and perspectives are hidden. But, like gems, we endure and continue to shine.
Expect to be seen and heard as we discuss the experiences of Black women in the workplace with a remarkable group of women including Christin Durham, Krislyn Bryant, LaNita Whittle, and Natasha Tull.
We look forward to seeing you to celebrate Maisha's accomplishment and taking a deeper dive into her newest book.
